Ballito Comes Together for a Walk of Unity and Values
On 22 November 2025, Ballito residents witnessed a meaningful and uplifting initiative as Prem Sai Ashram hosted a Walk for Values along Compensation Beach Road. The 1.5km walk focused on sharing the universal human values taught by Sri Sathya Sai Baba — Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love, and Non-Violence.
The purpose of the walk was to encourage residents to reflect on how these universal values can positively influence daily life — from homes to workplaces and wider community interactions.
In a rapidly developing coastal area like Ballito, such initiatives help create a balanced environment where growth is matched with compassion, understanding, and social harmony. The Walk for Values stood as a reminder that a strong community is built not only through development and infrastructure, but through the character and consciousness of its people.
Prem Sai Ashram and the dedication of its devotees has already made a meaningful impact in the community. Guided by the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the ashram has embraced opportunities for service and upliftment, demonstrating how even small acts rooted in love and unity can touch many lives. The Walk for Values was a reflection of this spirit: simple, sincere, and focused on creating positive change from within.
The weekend held further significance, as the walk led into the Centenary Celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on 23 November 2025. The programme featured inspiring talks, a heartfelt children’s play, devotional music, and collective prayer. The atmosphere was one of gratitude and reflection, honouring 100 years of Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s life and his enduring message of universal love.
Prem Sai Ashram welcomes the community, from all walks of life and all faiths , anyone who seeks a space of peace, service, and inner growth. Every Sunday from 7:45am to 9:00am, offering devotional singing, prayer, and value-based teachings in a warm and inclusive environment.
The Walk for Values stands as a positive contribution to Ballito—an example of how simple, heartfelt initiatives can nurture a kinder and more connected town. As Ballito evolves, events like these remind us that true progress is grounded in values that uplift and unite us all.
